Intersectoral coordination center for environmental education for sustainable development
The Center is headed by Baranovska Vanda, Candidate of Economic Sciences.
Main areas of activity: Analytical Analysis of international experience in the implementation of environmental policy and sustainable development policy, as well as the development of action plans for environmental protection and sustainable development strategies. Conducting a systematic analysis of scientific and methodological support of education for sustainable development: international and domestic experience; development of a conceptual model of the relationship between environmental education and education for sustainable development.
Promoting the implementation of the UNECE Strategy for Education for Sustainable Development Creating the legal basis for the implementation of the UNECE Strategy for Education for Sustainable Development. Preparation of proposals for the integration of education for sustainable development into the qualification requirements of environmental specialists and educational standards of the postgraduate education system, as well as professional development of teachers in the system of postgraduate education in education for sustainable development.
