Finin Heorhiy Semenovych

Finin Heorhiy Semenovych was born in Kyiv.
In 1974 he graduated from the Kyiv Institute of Civil Aviation Engineers and received a diploma with honors in Electronic Computers.
In 1981 he defended his thesis on "Some numerical methods of synthesizing optimal controls" in the field of Systems Theory, Theory of Automatic Control and Management and System Analysis and Computational Mathematics. He received the degree of Candidate of Physical and Mathematical Sciences.
In 1988, he was awarded the academic title of senior scientific worker in the specialty Automation of Technological Processes and Production.
In 2001 he defended his thesis on "Stationary and dynamic models and methods of hydraulic resource allocation", specializing in Mathematical Modeling and Computational Methods. He received the degree of Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences.
In 2015, he was awarded the academic title of Professor of the Department of Geoinformatics and Photogrammetry.
He is the author of over 120 scientific papers.
Research interests: mathematical modeling, water resources management, geoinformation technologies, optimal control, systems analysis, theory of mathematical games, issues of social philosophy.
